Cathedral of San Cristobal de la Havana is a catholic church located in the very heart of Antique side of Havana. It was declared as UNESCO Heritage in 1982. An it belongs to the archdioceses of Havana.
Cathedral of Havana is Baroque style and it's building process lasts from year 1748 to year 1832. Cathedral is surrounded by a plaza with the same name.
Surrounding the Catedral plaza you can also find the Colonial Art Museum and the Marqués de Arcos Palace. A human-sized, bronze-made statue of the Spanish dancer Antonio Gades, one of the most important flamenco dance style dancer in the
world, can be found lying in a column of one of the sides of cathedral plaza.
